Peter Yeend Ride (Harrietville) – 2022

It’s the new year and time to start planning your Harrietville trip. This year will be a little different as it coincides with the club’s SA trip and so we’ll need a few people to step up to run this ride this year – we’ll also need a support vehicle if anyone is interested. If anyone is interested get in touch with me either through the Rides or Secretary emails.
For those new to the club this is a 3 day overnighter – we ride down on the Friday, Saturday is free but generally there is a ride on somewhere, weather permitting and we return home on the Sunday. This ride is spoilt for choice on some of the best riding roads in Australia (in my opinion anyway).
The ride itself is fairly straight forward as we tend to do the same great roads each year. Generally these consist of from Cooma, Adaminaby, Kiandra, Corryong, Talangatta, Harrietville. There are a few options along this route to suit the preferences of those actually on the ride.
The return ride on the Sunday will be a bit larger as the SA ride will join up at Harrietville (provided we didn’t get lost or locked up). we also tend to follow much the same path home – Towonga Gap, Tallangatta, Granya Gap, Murray Valley Highway, Khancoban, Alpine way, Cooma and home.
