Ducati Monster M1000Si.e

Bought the bike new from Gecko in 2003. Its the S model with carbon fibre side panels, Brembo Gold Line Brakes, adjustable levers, pillion seat cowling, etc. 992cc Dual Spark 1000DS) air cooled engine.

I’ve done a bit over 40K on it over the last 21 years, mostly weekend trips away from Canberra, never been a daily commute bike. Always garaged, regularly serviced. Very good condition all round.

The bike has Ducati Performance high pipes fitted, power commander, slipper clutch, oggy knobs, bar end mirrors, aftermarket clutch cylinder and crankcase breather. It comes with Cycle Cat clip-ons, but has the original bars back on it now.

I also have all the original parts, mirrors, exhaust (only 5K on the original pipes), clutch cylinder, etc. So if you want it back to original speck its easy to do.

I’ve seen the M1000S model advertised for $8K on bikesales but I’d be happy with offers over $7K, especially if it’s going to a Ducatisti home where it will be treasured.

It’s been a great all round bike, i’ve never kept any other bike for more than a few years but this one has been special.

Ducati Monster 600cc

Good original carbureted bike, never crashed. Comes with standard pipes plus Staintunes and DB killers. Good original seat with no tears, good original paintwork, no dings on tank or any gravel rash. It has a new diaphragm pump and rebuilt carbs, but needs adjusting as it over-fuels. The bike has travelled 71.5K and is a 1995 model. It starts and runs, but hasn’t been ridden for a while so it needs a good clean and some tidying up.

It’s in Yass and inspections are welcome – Doc can vouch for me (I bought Bek’s Monster, hence this sale). I need the garage space so I’m open to reasonable offers.
