Binalong Motor Museum

Meeting 9am for 9.15 departure to Binalong. Meet point is the Dinosaur museum carpark at Gold creek.
88.6km to get there,, but the idea is that on the way home go out of Binalong via Gunning and Gundaroo to dust out the cobwebs.
We’re visiting a motoring museum, and the emphasis is on getting the interesting, and old Ducatis out for a nice local ride. It’s not so short that its for sipping latte but not too far from home if there is an issue.
The building is purpose built as a museum and workshop and sits several acres of gardens. Binalong is a small unspoiled village one hour from Canberra and three hours from Sydney. There is ample car parking at the Museum and facilities for barbecue and picnics. The Museum comprises model steam engines and locomotives and these are usually cars being restored as rebuilt in the workshop. These are sectioned engines showing how motor vehicles engines work.
Easy club ride out via Yass. Lunch spot to be decided on the day.
