8th & 9th November – Phil Goldacre Memorial Ride

The weather is finally warming up so that means it’s time for the annual Phil Goldacre Memorial Ride, once again going to Corryong.  This year the ride will be on Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th November.

As usual we’ll take the more scenic roads – which pretty much means the same way we went last year – Adaminaby, Tumut, Jinjelic and on to Corryong.  On Sunday we’ll come home via the Alpine Way.

You’ll need to look after your own accommodation for the Saturday night.  The main options we’ve used in the past are The Mountain View Motel (02) 6076 1766 or the Corryong Hotel Motel (02) 6076 1004’. Last year I think a few stayed at the Corryong Country Inn (02) 6076 1333, so that is another option.

There will be a support vehicle for those that need it.

Meet at the Hume Ampol on the Monaro Highway – Saturday morning at 8 for an 8.30 start.
