25th & 26th April – Autumn Leaf Rally

The Autumn Leaf Rally is run each year around ANZAC Day by the Tumut Valley Riders.  This rally is always well attended and for over ten years now the CDDC has been feeding the hungry masses at this rally.

This year we’ll once again be attending and it would be good to have a few volunteers to help Taso out on the Saturday meals and Sunday breakfast. The rally itself is worth the attendance alone.  It’s a good ride over via Wee JAsper – if you don’t mind 30 kays or so of easy dirt.  Alternatively it’s an easy run around on the highway until Colac and a cruisy run through the hills to the campground – with about 200 metres of easy dirt to traverse.

Traditionally they have a massive bonfire and the camping is easy.  One thing you won’t have to worry about is the food.

As I keep saying each year, it’s a relaxed atmosphere and the more we have there the easier it is – and if I can do it, it proves no skill set is required.  Not to mention it is the club’s main fund raiser.
