Ride for Sam!
On the 4th of August a member of the Canberra motorcycle community Sam Lucas (Super Duke Sam) was involved in a tragic accident which has resulted in severe brain trauma.
He’s currently at Canberra Hospital in a coma since the accident.
His mother Sarah has relocated here indefinitely from overseas to stay by his side throughout recovery and rehabilitation.
We would like to do a fundraiser to help Sam and his family through this tough time, financially this has been very stressful for the family as well as the potential to need to relocate further for rehabilitation.
We will meet up at Eaglehawk Hotel on the Federal Highway at 9:30am on Saturday the 1st of September for a 10:30 departure, we will ride through Canberra, finishing at Black Mountain Peninsula for a barbecue and hang out on the lake!
Cash entry on the day to the ride is $15 for riders, $5 for pillions, BBQ food and drinks available as well! 100% of all funds raised go straight to Sam and his family. Come on down for an awesome ride with awesome company!
