A slight change for this year as there is no room at the Inn.  For this year the Phil Goldacre ride will go to Corryong – it’s kind a close to Khancoban and except for the destination, just about everything else stays the same.

We’ll meet at the Hume Caltex on the Monaro Highway, heading to Adaminaby for fuel and coffee, Tumut for lunch (lunch venue yet to be determined).  From there to Tumburumba, most likely through the ‘old’ forest roads.  We will be stopping at Tumburumba for fuel (this time) then onto Jingelic and around to Corryong.

My intention for the return trip is to come back via Khancoban and the Alpine Way.  We can look to make a booking at Wild Brumbies if a few days out I can get numbers of people coming (confirmed) otherwise a lunch stop at Jindabyne.

Accomodation for the Saturday night is your choice of hotel/motels in Corryong.  The most likely candidates will be the Corryong Hotel Motel (contact on (02) 6076 1004) or the Mountain View Motel (contact (02) 6076 1766) – these are located close together on the approach to town.  In the end though it’s your choice and for you to book.

Meet at Caltex Hume on Saturday – 8 for an 8.30 am start.
