Well it’s that time again to put dates out for the Peter Yeend memorial ride, Harrietville. 26th to 28th of March is 1 week before NSW ACT and VIC school holidays, so good date, and the start of autumn.

All going well, and no boarder closures we’ll make the trip just across the Victorian boarder to the Snowline hotel in Harrietville.  While restrictions may be easing, it may not be a bad idea to logon to the Vic Services site and fill out a cross border permit – it’s not difficult or intrusive and it may save a hassle later on if needed.  You’ll get an email response within a couple of minutes.

Start from Hume Caltex – our ‘normal’ start – 8.00 for 8.30 am start.

This year, planning to do it a little different. Have the group split into two. The “Canberra District Ducati Corsa Club” and the “Historics in Harrietville”. The groups will ride at their own paces, allowing riders to chose where they feel comfortable sitting. Same meet point, same lunch point, same end point.

Friday down to Harrietville, Saturday, local rides, winery, trails, or the Blue Duck Inn loop – Choose your own adventure.

One thing to note in these changed times, the Snowline is restricted in the numbers it can feed at any one time, and so they have a booking system in place for meals.  I’m not going to try and replicate it here, ‘coz I’ll probably get it wrong – best bet is to go to their website for the correct details.

Back up vehicles are already sorted.
